Ruminia Tacanahui - My first experience in Bolivia
It was an unexpected trip.
The place where I was going was located in South Yungas, Bolivia. To get there I had to go through very narrow roads with names like "the road of death", but clinging to God's promises I made the trip.
The day came when I had to leave, crossing from desert lands to lands with lots of vegetation, beautiful landscapes and waterfalls, amazed and happy to know a country different from mine. Finally I arrived at the place seeing so many happy young people in the area of work that each one of them were doing: they were from different countries and I shared a lot with them and I liked the place very much.
It was a Bolivian missionary school "Las Delicias", where they offered an integral education to the student, what a privilege!
The most beautiful thing was the spiritual environment. It strengthened me a lot, and another area that I enjoyed was the health area where I spent most of my stay. They were years of great experiences: learning what I never want to forget (I learned to cook vegan, among many other things).
Shared joys and companionships, habits that I had to unlearn, many lessons of faith in every situation and even more in the most difficult roads (such as the times of abundant rain).
A preparation not only as citizens of this earth but for eternity.
This trip and this beautiful place was the beginning of the great experiences that God allowed me to live until today.
